GARDEN PLAN STUDIO · FREE EDITOR PREVIEW
Free garden layout planner for patios, paths, and planting
Plan a backyard or side yard by hand with AIByTask Garden Plan Studio. Compare outdoor layouts in 2D and simplified 3D, save views, and download your work.

Build the layout around the way you want to use the space
Arrange a house, patio, paths, planting areas, and outdoor furniture. Begin with a preset or adapt the layout to your own planning question: a small backyard patio, a side-yard path, or two different seating arrangements.
You place and edit the elements yourself. This page describes the free manual editor preview, not AI garden image generation or a photo-to-site-plan service.
Try a small-backyard comparison
- Establish the reference layout. Place the house and outdoor zones using the information you have. Check your own site measurements separately.
- Place one main activity. Try a patio dining area or seating area, then add a route to reach it.
- Add planting as zones. Use the model to compare the arrangement and visual balance. Plant objects are illustrative, not a species or growing-condition recommendation.
- Create another option. Move the patio, adjust the path, or change the furniture arrangement while retaining the first option.
- Review the same camera view. Compare both layouts from a similar position, then save the views that explain your choice.
Download an image and keep a portable backup
Download a 2D plan or a 3D camera image for discussion. Download the garden JSON file to retain editable options and saved views, including when moving to another device. Browser drafts stay in that browser and can be lost when its site data is cleared.
You can also sign in to save a garden layout to a project. Confirm the save status in the editor. Export your current workspace before importing a different file or replacing it with another saved layout.
Know what the garden preview leaves open
The simple 3D models help communicate an arrangement. They do not establish property boundaries, underground services, drainage, soil conditions, plant suitability, structural feasibility, or local permissions. Confirm those site-specific matters separately before work begins.
